Death Bunny Society - Want in?

Death Bunny Society

A Wild Idea from the PNWBUSHCRAFT Workshop

We’re cooking up something strange, rugged, and a little chaotic…

A Death Bunny-themed monthly drop packed with handcrafted waxed canvas gear and… well, who knows what else?

We’re thinking:

  • Gear with exclusive Death Bunny linings or accents

  • Stickers, patches, maybe collectible cards

  • Themed outdoor challenges or weird survival tools

  • Zines? Field notes? Morale-boosters?

But here’s the thing — it’s not official. Yet.

This is just an idea… unless you want it to become reality.

Want to see this come to life?

If the Death Bunny Society sounds like your kind of wild, drop your email below.
If enough folks are into it, we’ll make it happen.

No commitment. No pressure. Just interest.

About PNWBUSHCRAFT

We’re a small family-run gear company based in Washington, building rugged, heirloom-quality waxed canvas goods. The Death Bunny Society is a potential side quest—fueled by creativity, outdoor grit, and the weirdness we all need a little more of.

Thanks for being curious enough to scroll this far. You might be one of us.

How the Death Bunny Came to Be

It all started with the Smoking Rabbit—a figure pulled from Native American legend. Rabbit was a confident trickster and a skilled hunter, so sure of his abilities that even as the Lynx circled through the ferns, ready to pounce, Rabbit calmly enjoyed his pipe. He wasn’t afraid. He trusted himself.
Because confidence, when backed by ability, is a powerful thing.

That story stuck with us.

Todd was carving a lot of leather at the time and bringing the Smoking Rabbit to life in detailed artwork. But one day, he decided to mix it up—take it a little darker, a little bolder. He sketched a rabbit skull, added the iconic long ears, and of course, kept the pipe. When he showed it to me, I laughed and said, “Aww… it’s a Death Bunny.”
That name just clicked. It was exactly right.

Since then, the Death Bunny has taken on a life of its own. We've evolved the design—sometimes with the pipe, sometimes without—and even created special versions for events like the knife show. But it all began with that confident little rabbit who knew his worth and wasn’t afraid to show it.

That’s the spirit behind the Death Bunny: a little wild, a little fearless, and always ready.
