You’ve Been Asking. We Finally Figured It Out.
For years, customers have asked us to put a pocket clip on our waxed canvas slips.
And for years, we kept coming back to the same problem.
We didn't want to add a piece of metal that could come into contact with the pocketknife inside the slip. We thought the clip needed to sit directly in the center, and we just couldn't come up with a solution we were happy with.
Then one day Todd said, "I think I figured it out."
Instead of putting the clip in the center, he moved it to one side.
Such a simple change, but it solved the problem beautifully.
The titanium clip sits securely along one side of the slip while the hardware stays away from the pocketknife inside.
And it works wonderfully.

We debuted these during one of our Whatnot shows and they went over incredibly well. Since then, we've continued to hear from people asking when they could get one.
So here they are.
This is our first small batch available directly through the PNWBUSHCRAFT website.
Built with a LynchNW Titanium Clip
Each slip features a titanium pocket clip from LynchNW.
The clip allows you to secure the slip inside a pocket while still keeping the simplicity and protection of our traditional waxed canvas design.
The offset placement is intentional. It allows the clip to do its job without putting metal hardware against the pocketknife carried inside.

Black Waxed Canvas
A classic, simple option that will develop plenty of character with use.
Green Waxed Canvas
A traditional outdoor color and longtime PNWBUSHCRAFT favorite.
Vintage Flecktarn Canvas
We had a few small pieces of our vintage Flecktarn canvas remaining and knew exactly what we wanted to do with them.
Rather than let those scraps go to waste, we turned them into a very limited number of clipped slips.
Once this vintage material is gone, we can't simply order more.

Each slip measures approximately:
2.5" wide × 4" tall
The usable space between the seams is approximately:
1.75" wide × 4" deep
Please measure your pocketknife before ordering to make sure it will work with these dimensions.

The waxed canvas provides a layer between your pocketknife and everything else you carry while the titanium clip helps keep the slip where you want it in your pocket.
And like all good waxed canvas gear, these aren't meant to stay pristine.
They'll crease. They'll scuff. They'll develop a patina.
They'll start looking like yours.

Each slip is cut, sewn, assembled and finished by our family in our Washington workshop.
