Meet the Sidekick, our newest Make It Monday project.
We asked our community to help us make some of the decisions on this one, and they chose a green waxed canvas exterior with a medium brown waxed canvas interior.
The Sidekick looks like a compact handled zipper bag when closed, but unzip it and the whole thing opens flat. The short sides stay standing to create a tray, giving you a big open workspace without your smaller gear rolling away.

Bag + Tray
That's really what makes the Sidekick fun.
Carry everything zipped up, set it down when you get where you're going, and open it into a working tray. You can actually see and reach what you brought instead of digging around in the bottom of a bag.
We can see this being useful for EDC, tools, art supplies, electronics and cords, camp gear, sewing supplies, grooming gear, or whatever else needs its own little Sidekick.
And because this started as a Make It Monday, our community got to help decide what this one would look like.
