Camping Tent Pocket Knife Slip | Waxed Canvas

A little camping nostalgia for your everyday carry.

Sometimes we come across a piece of fabric that just makes us smile, and this one is filled with colorful little tents that remind us of camping trips, old campgrounds, and nights spent outdoors.

Originally printed in 2013, this cotton fabric features a wonderful collection of vintage-style camping tents in shades of green, blue, red, and cream against a warm brown background. There are even little bits of writing and other details scattered throughout the design.

We thought it would be perfect for our handmade pocket knife slips!

Each slip features the printed cotton fabric on the front, paired with two layers of rugged brown waxed canvas for added structure and durability. It's a fun combination of colorful camping artwork and the practical materials we love working with.

A Different Little Campsite on Every Slip

One of the things we enjoy about working with patterned fabrics is seeing how different each finished piece can be.

This fabric is filled with colorful tents and camping details, and because we cut each slip individually, the placement of the artwork will vary.

Some slips might feature a bright green tent, others a classic canvas-style shelter, or a combination of different camping scenes.

That's part of the fun!

More Than Just a Knife Slip

Although we originally designed these for pocket knives, our customers have discovered all kinds of other uses for them.

They're also handy for small flashlights, lighters, sharpening stones, and other little pieces of everyday carry gear that need a place of their own.

Built to Age Beautifully

The brown waxed canvas will soften, crease, and develop a beautiful patina with use. Scratches and wear marks become part of its story, while the printed cotton adds a little color and character.

We love combining interesting fabrics with durable materials to create useful gear that's a little different from everything else.
