Our Sidekick is one of those pieces of gear that makes organizing your everyday essentials a whole lot easier.
This version features beautiful brown waxed canvas on the outside and a fun woodland moose flannel lining on the inside. It's a little bit rugged with a surprise of personality when you open it up!
What makes the Sidekick special is the way it opens. Unzip it completely and the bag unfolds into a handy gear tray with raised sides on both ends. Instead of digging around inside your bag, you can spread everything out, see what you've brought, and keep your smaller essentials together.
When you're ready to move on, simply zip it back up, grab the handles and go!

The Story Behind the Sidekick
The Sidekick actually started as a special request from Taylor of BestDamnEDC at Carry Commission. He asked us to create a Dopp kit that could unzip and open into a handy gear tray, and we loved the idea!
Our original design featured leather tabs on the ends, but as we continued making them, we decided to try webbing handles instead. We loved how easy they made the bag to grab and carry, and the Sidekick was born.
We always love giving credit where it's due, so a big thank you to Taylor and Carry Commission for inspiring the original design. It's one of the things we love most about collaborating with other small businesses. Sometimes a simple conversation turns into something wonderful!
