This is the original handcrafted waxed canvas foraging pouch—exclusively designed and made by PNWBUSHCRAFT. For years it has been trusted by foragers, campers, and a growing community of rockhounds who rely on its durability and practicality.

For this small run, we added something special.

Each pouch features a vintage number reclaimed from a 1960s scout sash—most likely a troop number, worn and carried decades ago. We came across the sash on a trip and couldn’t let it sit forgotten in a box.

Now those numbers are back where they belong—outside, being used again.

No two are the same, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Made for Adventure

Forage: Gather wild mushrooms, herbs, and berries with ease.

Tinder: Keep dry tinder handy for building the perfect campfire.

Rockhounding: Carry your finds without stuffing your pockets.

Dog Treats: Great for training rewards and trail snacks for your pup.

Shells: Collect treasures from the beach.

Tools: Keep small tools and hardware right at your side.

Farm & Field: Gather eggs or carry spent ammo shells.

Rugged & Reliable

Built from 10.1 oz waxed canvas that stands up to the elements.

Strong stitching and reinforced seams for long-term use.

Two sturdy snaps clip securely to belts or straps up to 2" wide.

Smart & Compact

Open size: 9" wide x 8.75" deep—plenty of room for your finds.

Folds down to 3" x 3.5" x 1.25"—so light and compact you’ll forget it’s there until you need it.

Built to Last, Built to Belong

Every pouch is cut, sewn, and finished in our Washington workshop by a family who believes in gear that grows with you. The waxed canvas softens and develops character over time, becoming a one-of-a-kind trail companion.

The addition of these vintage numbers means each pouch carries a little more history—something that was once part of someone else’s journey, now ready for yours.

And because we believe in making heirloom-quality gear that truly lasts, every PNWBUSHCRAFT Foraging Pouch comes with a lifetime guarantee. Use it hard, pass it down, and know we’ll always stand behind it.

Add the Original PNWBUSHCRAFT Foraging Pouch to your kit today—and if you grab one from this Heritage Number Series, you’re carrying a piece of history with you

Feedback from our awesome customers

“Wow! The design of this bag is perfect. Just what I needed for foraging on the farm where I work. It's hard to tell the quality of the material, especially the authentic canvas, from the pictures, but this little pouch is tough! The addition of some homemade leather and canvas conditioner was a thoughtful treat, too. Thanks PNW!”
