Dark Curiosities Pocketknife Slips
Sometimes we find a fabric and immediately know we need to make something with it.
I came across an independent fabric designer on Etsy creating these wonderfully strange prints filled with skulls, ravens, old books, botanicals, mushrooms, apothecary bottles, tarot imagery and other dark little curiosities.
They felt like they belonged somewhere between an old apothecary, a natural history collection and a cabinet of curiosities.
Obviously, we needed some.
We paired the different prints with our rugged waxed canvas and turned them into a small collection of Pocketknife Slips in several sizes.

Choose Your Curiosity
This collection isn't meant to match.
One slip might feature skulls and strange specimens. Another might have mushrooms, herbs and tarot cards. You might find ravens, old books, bottles or something else tucked into the artwork.
Because these are cut from larger patterned fabrics, pattern placement will vary, making each one a little different.
Choose your favorite design and size from the available options.
A Little Darker Than Usual
We work with a lot of vintage fabrics, camouflage and colorful textiles in the shop, but every once in a while it's fun to wander into the slightly weird side of the woods.
These definitely qualify.
They're a little gothic, a little witchy, a little old world naturalist and just strange enough to make an ordinary Pocketknife Slip a lot more interesting.
