super easy to carry! - revised!!

Hello folks,
Wanted to write this out to folks.... I gave my camp chair a 4-star review because I was worried about the stitching at the corners not being reinforced with rivets, etc. Heather got back to me promptly and explained the super-reinforced stitching that they do on these corners and that they proved to be stronger than using the rivets = a design intention, not a shortcoming. Upon closer inspection I can see the details and attention to strength and I wanted to explain that to folks who might be considering one of these. They are really awesome! Thanks PNW Bushcraft for the superior products and customer service!!

super easy to carry!

I really love the PNW Bushcraft products and this one is no different. Great size and the material is super.
One star off because the seams that will be most stressed using the chair, where the pocket closes on to the seat are not reinforced, and I will likely add rivets to all 6 of these points in the future when I see the stitching start to unravel.

Brilliant Idea handcrafted beautifully

I found out about these seat tops at a Gray Bearded Green Beret (GB2) training course. They prevented me from pilfering one from the school's supply, so I ordered my own the minute I got home. Beautiful, rugged (doesn't fall apart like knock-offs), and handmade in the US. Worth every penny. Just a word of caution - people will try to steal yours. I know I did.

truly excellent

I've packed this little seat out on 3 adventures now, and it is sturdy and well constructed. Stress points are triple stitched, and the canvas is well waxed. Did I mention, this thing weighs lesssss than even the best and lightest camping chair... LOL i never liked lugging those things out, even when car camping. When I'm traipsing with a pack, every ounce counts, and this is hands down the best camp seat solution I've found yet... this seat and a saw is lighter than any other chair system, and finding suitable wood has not been difficult at all. I string some 550 cord through the tag loop to keep it wrapped in its folded form, and fully ready for use (I always carry a Bahco saw, but the saw blades on Leatherman or Swiss knives are serviceable as well)
