Waxed Canvas Pen Slip – Handmade EDC Pen Sleeve
Because sometimes your favorite pen deserves better than getting beat up in the bottom of a bag.
This project actually started because I bought myself a really nice pen and immediately realized I didn’t trust tossing it loose into my pocket, backpack, or truck console.
So I made a simple double-layered waxed canvas slip to protect it.
Then our followers saw it…and asked if we could make more.
So here we are.
These minimalist pen slips are handcrafted from rugged waxed canvas and sized specifically for higher-end EDC pens like the Big Idea Design Bolt Action Pen, though they’ll work with many similarly sized pens and tools.

Each slip is sewn with heavy-duty thread and built in our Washington State workshop.
