Make It Monday Vintage Ohio Safe Hunter Ammo Tote
This week's Make It Monday started with two vintage patches and a choice.
We let our community decide which patch we should build around, and they chose this vintage Ohio Division of Wildlife Safe Hunter patch. From there, they helped decide what it should become: one of our heavy duty Ammo Totes.
Once the direction was set, we went with brown waxed canvas for the exterior, and I couldn't resist adding an orange canvas lining. It picks up the orange in that old patch perfectly and gives the inside a great pop of color.
The vintage patch sits front and center on a contrasting waxed canvas pocket, making this one very different from our regular Ammo Tote.

A Make It Monday Original
One of the reasons we love Make It Monday is that we don't always know what we're making when we start.
This one began with two old patches. Our community chose their favorite, decided it needed to become an Ammo Tote, and then we got to take those choices back into the shop and bring the idea to life.
The result is something we probably wouldn't have made on our own, which is exactly the fun of it.

This particular combination was built around this vintage patch, making this Ammo Tote a true one of a kind.
The brown waxed canvas will crease, soften and develop even more character with use, while that bright orange lining hides a little surprise inside.
Use it hard. That's what we made it for.
