So when we had the opportunity to have one of our favorite mushroom foraging tools customized with PNWBUSHCRAFT, we couldn't resist.
This is the classic Opinel No.08 Mushroom Knife, made specifically with mushroom hunters in mind and finished with PNWBUSHCRAFT laser engraved into the wooden handle.
It's a simple, beautiful little tool designed for exactly what we love doing: wandering through the woods and seeing what we can find.
Made for Mushroom Foraging
The curved 3" stainless steel blade makes it easier to carefully harvest mushrooms, including those growing in awkward or hard to reach places.
Along the back of the blade is a serrated edge that can be used to gently scrape away debris, while a boar hair brush built into the end of the handle lets you brush away soil and dirt before putting your finds into your basket or foraging pouch.

Opinel laser engraved PNWBUSHCRAFT directly onto the handles for us, making this a special version we were able to have produced for our shop.
We love that combination: a tool from a company that's been making knives in France since 1890, carrying the name of our little handcrafted business here in the Pacific Northwest. Opinel says its products are still manufactured at its factory in Chambéry, France.
