Desert Camo Foraging Pouch – Lightweight Ripstop Edition
An oversized version of one of our favorite trail companions.
We took the same limited-run 1990s desert camo ripstop cotton nylon fabric from our recent bucket bags and turned it into something a little different—an extra roomy version of our classic snap-on foraging pouch.
Because the ripstop fabric is so lightweight and flexible, we were able to scale this pouch up larger than our standard versions without making it feel bulky or heavy on your belt.
The result is a pouch that disappears when folded up but opens into a surprisingly capable carry-all when adventure calls.

The pouch body is made from lightweight desert camo ripstop cotton nylon that keeps the bag flexible and easy to pack.
The belt attachment and closure section are still constructed from rugged 10.1 oz brown waxed canvas for structure, durability, and long-term wear where it matters most.
The combination feels incredibly practical in use.

Why We Love This One
Most oversized foraging pouches become bulky or awkward.
This one doesn’t.
The lightweight ripstop keeps it comfortable to wear while still giving you enough room for real gathering, wandering, and everyday carry use.
It feels more like old field gear than traditional heavy canvas bushcraft equipment.
Limited Material Run
We only had a small amount of this desert camo ripstop available, so only a handful of these larger pouches will be made.
Once the fabric is gone, this version is gone too.
