A New Size Inspired by Our Customers

One of my favorite things about our business is how often our customers help us create something new.

This slip started with a customer who wanted to protect a Buck 110 folding knife he was receiving as a gift. He wanted something tall enough for the entire knife to sit inside, helping protect it from scratches while carrying it in his pocket.

Since we didn't have that particular knife in the shop, I reached out to another customer who collects knives and owns several of our slips. Together, we compared sizes and worked out something between two of our existing designs.

The result is our new Extra Tall Pocket Slip, measuring 2.25" wide by 5.5" tall.

While we designed it with the Buck 110 in mind, we haven't personally tested that fit yet. We also think this size will be useful for all kinds of other pocket gear.

A Little Extra Protection

Sometimes you want your favorite piece of gear completely tucked away instead of sticking out of the top of its slip.

That's exactly what inspired this design.

As with all our waxed canvas gear, the material will develop its own character and patina with use.

Please note: This size was developed with the Buck 110 in mind, but fit has not yet been confirmed with the actual knife. We recommend measuring your gear before ordering.
