Some pieces of gear don't get the attention they deserve until you start using them. This is one of those pieces.

Our Groundcloth & Hammock Chair was one of the original products we made when PNWBUSHCRAFT began. We wanted something simple, rugged and incredibly versatile. A piece of gear that could serve several purposes without taking up room for a bunch of separate items.

And that's exactly what we created.

At first glance, it's a 4' × 2.5' piece of beautiful waxed canvas. But take it into the woods and you'll discover just how handy it can be.

Spread it out for a clean, dry place to organize your gear. Snap it together to carry firewood or gathered materials. Use it as a camp work surface, a blanket roll cover, or build a traditional bushcraft chair with a properly constructed wooden support.

We use Martexin waxed canvas because we love its durability, weather resistance and the beautiful patina it develops over time.

This groundcloth isn't intended to be a disposable piece of camping equipment. It's made to be used, enjoyed and carried on adventures for years to come.

Care: Wipe clean with a damp cloth or rinse with water. Do not use soap, machine wash or dry clean.

Includes one waxed canvas groundcloth. Wooden supports, rope, tools and other accessories shown in photographs or illustrations are not included. Suspended seating requires a properly constructed and inspected support system.
