Supporting Those Who Show Up: Everything Lifesaving Foundation

We talk a lot about showing up—whether it’s on the trail, around a campfire, or in our everyday lives. And every once in a while, you meet someone who doesn’t just talk about it... they live it.

We met Paul and his amazing dog Freya a few years ago at the Fall Gathering in Georgia. From the moment we met them, we could tell they were something special. Paul isn’t loud about what he does, but he’s always doing something for someone else. That year, he brought charging stations for everyone, making sure folks had a way to power their devices. He even set up a tent with heaters, remembering how cold it had been the year before—just quietly thinking ahead, taking care of people. That’s who he is.

Paul runs the Everything Lifesaving Foundation, a veteran-led nonprofit dedicated to showing up where help is needed most. Whether it’s disaster relief, supporting fellow veterans, or helping first responders, Paul is boots-on-the-ground with a calm presence and a kind heart.

He’s also the kind of guy who’s always checking in—asking how he can help us. Whether it’s sharing our work or lending support during events, he’s there. And now, we want to return the favor.
