The handles wrap around the bottom and back up so you have the added strength for a heavy load. The bag is created with 10.1 oz waxed canvas in green and the second layer inside is brown waxed canvas. It has a front outside pocket that is 4" by 6". It has one snap in the middle if you need to keep things closed. Besides being great for carving tools, this would work well for regular tools, kitchen sets, or even a great-sized lunch sack. The possibilities are endless with this handcrafted piece of outdoor gear.
The waxed canvas used on the product is made using a specialized process created in the 1800s. Martexin Original Wax has a superior finish made with an environmentally friendly blend of waxes that is non-hazardous. This fabric process creates a lifelong resistance to weather and it will develop a beautifully worn look. The 100 % cotton fabric will show scratches and become distressed but will continue to look better over time as it develops its own patina.
